Excellence in the administration of extrajudicial procedures for preventing and resolving business conflicts

XVII Brazilian Competition on Business Arbitration and Mediation CAMARB

The CAMARB Brazilian Business Arbitration and Mediation Competition (CBAM) is a renowned event that has brought together Brazilian and foreign students and professionals since 2010. Created with the purpose of disseminating the practice of arbitration and mediation, the event trains young students for the conflict resolution market.

In its last edition, the Competition brought together 1.200 participants, including competitors, judges, evaluators and observers, and featured 67 teams from educational institutions across the country and abroad.
For 16 years, this major institutional project has represented opportunities for professional growth and development, the creation of networking opportunities among future young lawyers, and the building of partnerships.

Inspired by international moot court events, the initiative brought the quality of experience of these events to Brazilian students, contributing significantly to the academic development of out-of-court dispute resolution institutes in the country.

Date of the XVII CBAM: October 14-17, 2026.
