Professor, consultant and reviewer, he is currently a Professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, Portugal. He was for 5 years (2017-2022) an assistant professor at the Humboldt Universität zu Berlin, Germany, under Prof. Dr. Dr. hc Luís Greco. He holds a PhD and a Master's degree (LL.M.) from the Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München, Germany, both under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Dr. hc mult. Claus Roxin.
