The President of CAMARB – Chamber of Business Mediation and Arbitration – Brazil, in the exercise of her powers provided for in the Bylaws1 and
i. CONSIDERING the Agreement for the operationalization of the Arbitration and Mediation Chamber of the Commission of Law Firms of the Minas Gerais Bar Association (“Agreement”), signed on November 29, 2023 between CAMARB and the Brazilian Bar Association – Minas Gerais Section, provides for the transfer, to CAMARB, of the administration of all mediation and arbitration procedures (collectively “procedures”) that may be requested before the OAB/MG Chamber, from the signing of said agreement and during its term;
ii. CONSIDERING the discounts and subsidies provided for in items 2 and 4, Clause Three and subitem 1(a), Clause Five of the Agreement, which will be applicable to arbitration agreements or staggered clauses that elect the Arbitration and Mediation Chamber of the Commission of Law Firms of the Minas Gerais Bar Association as the institution originally responsible for administering the case, during the term of the Agreement;
Resolves to issue this Resolution to publicize the signed Agreement (Annex 01) and to define that the arbitration and mediation procedures, requested after the signing of the Agreement and during its validity, which may be requested before the Arbitration and Mediation Chamber of the Commission of Law Firms of the Minas Gerais Bar Association, will be administered by CAMARB, under the terms of its Rules and Schedule of Costs for Arbitration and Business Mediation in force at the time of the request, considering the discounts and subsidies offered by OAB/MG.

1 Art. 21- Without prejudice to other duties provided for in this Statute, the President shall be responsible for:
g) issuing resolutions, regulations or acts on matters relating to the administration of CAMARB or procedures administered by it.
