Lawyer and founding partner of Vilas Boas, Lopes e Frattari Advogados, with expertise in arbitration, commercial contracts, international contracts, investment structuring, M&A and financing transactions (domestic and international), construction contracts and corporate law. He serves domestic and foreign clients in the energy, mining, construction, distribution and foreign trade sectors. He is also an Adjunct Professor of Civil Law at the Law School of the Federal University of Minas Gerais, with activities in the institution's undergraduate, master's and doctoral programs. He teaches subjects related to contracts, obligations and arbitration. Christian holds a PhD and Master's in Law from the Federal University of Minas Gerais, a Master's in Law from Columbia University Law School (New York), and was awarded the James Kent Scholar, Specialist in Economic and Corporate Law from Fundação Getúlio Vargas and a Bachelor's in Law from the Federal University of Minas Gerais. Since June 2018, he has served as Director of CBAr – Brazilian Arbitration Committee. He was Vice-President (2016-2018) and Director (2008-2015) and is a member of the Deliberative Council (since 2008) of CAMARB – Chamber of Business Arbitration – Brazil.
