The President of CAMARB – Chamber of Business Mediation and Arbitration – Brazil, in the exercise of her powers provided for in the Bylaws [1], informs that there will be no business at CAMARB on the following dates [2] and CAMARB units:

 

Business days will be considered those on which CAMARB offices are open for business in the cities of Belo Horizonte, Brasília, Goiânia, Itajaí, Lisbon (PT), Recife, Rio de Janeiro, Salvador or São Paulo. Deadlines are continuous and will not be suspended on days when CAMARB offices are not open for business. If the deadline expires on a holiday at the place of the arbitration, dispute board or mediation or on a day when CAMARB offices are not open for business, the deadline will be extended to the first following business day.

CAMARB will be on recess from December 20, 2024 (Friday) to January 12, 2025 (Sunday). All deadlines will be suspended during the recess period, with their flows being computed until the last business day before CAMARB's recess, December 19, 2024 (Thursday), and starting again on January 13, 2025 (Monday).

President[1] Art. 19 – Without prejudice to other duties provided for in this Statute, the President shall:
g) issuing resolutions, regulations or acts on matters relating to the administration of CAMARB or procedures administered by it.

[2] CAMARB informs that, for the purposes of indicating the dates on which there will be no business hours, the official federal, state and municipal holidays of the locations where it has offices are considered.
